[공부자료] 영국시 영문번역입니다.
I chose the poem, The Sick Rose, written by William Blake. Before starting my presentation, I am going to tell you about him, William Blake, briefly who he is, and the reason why I chose it.
William Blake (1757~1827) is one of the most creative poet in British literature. He was as a poet, as a painter, and a great imagination, express his sensitivity in his works, which had not ever seen before.
He also has the sense of the preceding period, wide and deep eyes, which can see everything in different ways. but during his life, he was never acknowledged as a great poet properly, so he died without any reputation. but his work is still alive because his fresh sensibility and incredible imagination sparked a stimulating and awakening.
This poem is one of the most memorable poems that I ever leaned, and made me leave a strong impression. Actually, it is difficult to define poetry as a writer’s purpose. because people have different perspective so it leads to a different interpretatio…(생략(省略))
