Embryonic Stem Cell Research: Problem or Solution
Embryonic Stem Cell Research Should Not Be Accepted
Suppose you are blind and you got an opportunity to regain your eyesight. You must jump for joy because you would have been exploring every avenues to recover from blindness. Likewise, human being has a strong desire to escape from those incurable diseases and disabilities. To fulfill this strong desire, scientists have long been struggling to come up with effective solutions. One of those solutions is a treatment using human embryo. This kind of research is called embryonic stem cell research, which uses unborn human being in the very early stage of development. Scientists who developed these researches and people who for them firmly insist that this treatment is very effective and useful in pragmatic aspect. However, embryonic stem cell research is not acceptable because of following three reasons. I’d like to get your questions at the end of the presentation.
